Hi! I am Lindsey, the owner and lead instructor of Great Adventures Daycare and Preschool. I have been providing childcare for over 20 years as a babysitter, then full time nanny, and, for many years now, licensed home provider. I love reading, traveling, music, and spending time with my family.  I have been married to my high school crush since 2007 and we have four wonderful children who were the inspiration for my leap into starting my own daycare.  It has been a joy and privilege to watch them grow up side by side with my daycare littles as their besties. The time has flown by! My two oldest have begun helping in the daycare and my youngest will be starting school this fall.

I never imagine as I nannied through college that it would lead to me owning my own business and allow me to be home with my babies. I attended UC Irvine where I received my degree in Criminology, Law, and Society with a minor in Psychology of Social Behavior (with an emphasis in child development) and completed an internship at UC Irvine's Infant and Toddler Center.

I have continued my early childhood education through participation in Placer County's Early Quality Matters Program where I complete a minimum of 20-25 hours of professional development each year in addition to mandated reporter training and CPR recertification courses.
